Bel Aire Real Estate

First things first: The city government has no prince. They have a city manager. He’s not fresh. (Still, I’m sure he’s a nice guy and you can tell by the state of the city he’s doing a fine job.) There are no documented visits of Will Smith to the city.

Good. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk about the city! Bel Aire is a relative newcomer to being a city. It wasn’t until 1980, after a Kansas Supreme Court decision, that the city officially was incorporated. The path to being an independent city was started in the mid 1950’s and the Bel Aire faithful were consistent in their desire to have an independent city to call their own.

Today, after quite a bit of expansion in every direction by both Bel Aire and Wichita it is difficult to exactly draw the line for where Wichita stops and Bel Aire begins. That to say, if you’re looking for a smaller community with great residents, quick access to work or school, and fabulous parks then you ought to take a good look at the city of Bel Aire.
