September Event Connection

As the weather cools, and the humidity (hopefully) subsides, there are some upcoming outdoor events that you should consider attending to take advantage of the beautiful Kansas fall weather.

Autumn and Art at Bradley Fair- An event to enjoy fine art, food, and fun! This free event features 99 artists from across the country at Wichita’s own Bradley Fair. Art will be available for view and purchase, as well as food and drink from booths provided by Bradley Fair’s variety of restaurants. There are event activities for kids! This event runs from Friday, September 16th through Sunday, September 18th. For more information and a detailed schedule, visit the Autumn & Art website.

Race for the Cure- It seems like everyone either knows someone or is related to someone who has been afflicted by breast cancer. You can be a part of getting closer to the cure by donating, participating, raising money, or all of the above! The 2016 Race for the Cure is Saturday, September 24th. Register and/or donate here!

Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cookoff- Does this speak to your heart like it does mine?! There is nothing like a great bowl of chili on a crisp fall day, and it is amazing what kind of variety people can come up with! The Wichita Wagonmasters Chili Cookoff has been a tradition in Wichita for 30 years now. This event is Saturday, September 24th. Public tasting starts at noon, so you can Race for the Cure that morning, and then go taste chili for lunch! You can purchase tasting kit vouchers at your local QT, or click here if you wish to enter your own team to compete!
